About me

What sets me apart from other veterinary practitioners and animal physiotherapists are many. But there are only a few that cover as many different subject areas as is the case for me and my cooperation partners. We have all been well trained in our specialist areas and have experience with a wide variety of dog and horse breeds and can therefore respond well to you and the individual character of your animal. Since our team also maintains a close friendship, we can take excellent care of what is really important and the focus, namely your animal. If you have any further questions or special requests, we are happy to assist you at any time.

I would like to introduce myself to you with my areas of responsibility ...

My name is Sinah Kok, dogs and horses have accompanied me through my life from an early age. From 2000-2015 our family dog, our long-haired dachshund Bobby, was my loyal companion and everything. So far I did not have my own horse, but after a long break at the RC Hude I was able to spend my time with the horses first on the school horses and then on the private horse Merlin. It has always been my wish to work with animals and become a veterinarian. However, since I cannot euthanize animals, I did not choose this profession, but followed my second career choice and started my bank training at Bremer Landesbank Bremen in 2008. After successfully completing the degree in banking, bank economics and insolvency law, I decided after a long time to turn my back on the bank that had now merged with Nord / LB on January 31, 2020 and to once again fulfill my original professional wish, working with animals . This wish was reinforced by the arrival of my Dalmatian puppy Merlin on August 25th, 2018. In December 2018 I started my training at ATM GmbH in Bad Bramstedt as a veterinary practitioner and physiotherapist for dogs and horses, which I hope I will successfully pass in 2020. This is followed by the one-year training as an animal surgeon, also for dogs and horses. During my training, I would like to build my own health center for alternative veterinary medicine for dogs and horses piece by piece. In addition to the training at ATM GmbH, I will take over the regional group management of the regional group North of the Dalmatian Breeding Community Germany (DZGD) from 2020.

In 2019 I started to build my own kennel for Dalmatians and (still in planning) for long-haired dachshunds. If you would like more information on this, feel free to drop by on the homepage of my Siruna´s Dalmatiner kennel (www.sirunas-dalmatiner.de) or contact me directly.

Merlin

Merlin is always happy to have a caress and play unit. In addition, he has agreed to this and has taken on the honorable task of making himself available as a photo model for the homepage etc. and is the first to always enjoy new applications and try everything out. He always likes the latest massage techniques best, which he enjoys picking up every evening.

Tabaluga & Rudi

Our team has recently been supplemented by Tabaluga and Rudi, our lucky pigs. But what exactly are their tasks? In principle, you may at first glance (like everyone else) take on the tasks and joys of the normal "coffee till" or the "tip collector". But why do we like our coffee machine so much that we mention it two times? Simply because Tabaluga is a complete donation pig! We think it's worth highlighting. But to whom or what do we donate? The total proceeds from Tabaluga will be distributed at the end of the year as follows: 10% of the total proceeds will go to the association gkf-Research for the dog 20% of the total proceeds will go to the shelter Bergedorf 20% of the total proceeds will go to the shelter Oldenburg What is the association " gkf research for the dog "? The gkf is an association that promotes research projects for the good of the dog. He researches known and unknown diseases and develops new therapeutic options and is financed exclusively through donations and membership fees. With the support of the gkf, new diagnostic methods and therapies for dogs have already been developed and systematically tested, which are now used in veterinary practice. For more information, please have a look at the gkf homepage: https://www.gkf-bonn.de/index.php/startseite.html If you have donated goods or food for the Bergedorf animal shelter or the Oldenburg animal shelter, you can also gladly hand over to me (also mentioning which animal home the donation is intended for). I will then hand these over to the animal shelter at regular intervals. I am also happy to accept your expired dressing material (e.g. from the first-aid car kit) for my first aid course. With the expired associations we can practice in our course how to create associations. At the end of the year I will give the last 2 places to you for voting on which institution or association a donation should go to. I would be happy to receive suggestions from you for coordination. The two most elected institutions / associations will then receive a percentage breakdown of the remaining proceeds. So that each of the 5 institutions / associations gets a smooth donation amount, I round up each donation sum to a smooth amount. The little golden guy Rudi is my "private" lucky pig and is happy about some food on occasion, but likes to let Tabaluga go first. Rudi's content is invested in my practice.
