Tierphysiotherapie

General information Animal physiotherapy mainly deals with diseases of the muscular and skeletal system. The main indications are pain and functional restrictions of the musculoskeletal system. After a detailed assessment, the problems can be remedied using different methods: special manual techniques for releasing tension, mobilizing blockages, incorrect movement patterns, economizing, different techniques for working on muscles, fascia connective tissue, measures for acid regulation, physical measures supporting electrotherapy (underwater), treadmill, manganese field, laser and many other therapeutic goals especially pain relief, maintenance and optimization of the functions of the musculoskeletal system. These goals are achieved by improving mobility, resilience and muscle strength, as well as blood circulation and the metabolism of various tissues. This strengthens both physical resilience and mental fitness. In addition to the therapeutic treatment, the owner is given individual impulses for (all) daily work and movement sequences, as well as for training therapy or tournament preparation. The owner is involved in the therapy by learning simple exercises to increase movement, stretching or relieving pain on the animal, which he can then implement independently with his animal at home. On the following pages, you can find out about my offered therapies in the field of physiotherapy. Through regular training, my offer will constantly expand. A regular visit is worthwhile!

Physiotherapy for dogs The areas of application of animal physiotherapy with specialization in dogs are versatile. Pain and functional limitations of the musculoskeletal system in particular can be successfully treated in dogs with physiotherapeutic treatment. The main therapeutic goal is to achieve pain relief and to maintain and optimize the functions of the musculoskeletal system.

Physiotherapy for horses In the physiotherapeutic treatment of horses, functional movement disorders, painful changes, tension and problems caused by bridle, saddle, pasture or rider are the focus of the treatment at leisure level. In competitive sports, the focus is on increasing and maintaining performance , Regeneration, prevention, avoidance of overload damage and balance training. Physiotherapy also plays an important role after orthopedic operations, muscle atrophy, spinal disorders, tendon disorders or unclear lameness; This also applies to maintaining health and movement in old and movement-restricted animals. The aim of successful treatment is to maintain or restore pain relief, the best possible functionality and an economical movement sequence using special techniques. The treatment does not impose any new functions on the body - only the self-healing powers are stimulated.
